JUST FOR ONE DAY: L’Estetica del Momento Eterno

The inspiration for JUST FOR ONE DAY was not simply to create a sweet fragrance, but to capture a temporal paradox: the intensity of a lifetime distilled into the span of a single day. It is the perfume of conscious hedonism, where lightheartedness is not naive, but a deliberate choice by those who know that beauty is all the more precious for being ephemeral.

The challenge for us was to take elements often relegated to childhood or commercial perfumery—like apple and bubble gum—and contaminate them with the solid, "dirty" structure of brandy and oakmoss. The result is an olfactory architecture that does not seek to reassure, but to seduce through a deep, tactile contrast.

1. The Boozy Opening: Sweetness That Defies Time

The beginning of a gourmand is usually a gentle invitation. In Just For One Day, the opening is instead a sensory jolt, a strike that immediately declares we are not talking about child's play.

The Spirit of the Apple (Brandy and Quince) Candy Apple, Brandy, Candied Fruit, Bubble Gum, Quince: We intentionally avoided the fresh, crisp apple to seek the viscous consistency of Candy Apple. This note was immediately "corrupted" by Brandy. This is not a light liqueur, but an aged distillate that brings an alcoholic and woody nuance, transforming sugar into resin. The Bubble Gum here is not a pop reference, but a technical note used to provide an elastic, synthetic texture that contrasts with the tactile reality of Quince. This combination creates a dense, almost palpable air that avoids the banality of a "treat" to become a forbidden nectar.

2. The Contradictory Heart: The Verticality of Spices

Beneath the sugary surface beats a heart that belongs to classical and intellectual perfumery. To prevent the fragrance from becoming cloying, we inserted disruptive elements that govern its evolution.

Jasmine Among the Thorns (Oakmoss and Cardamom) Jasmine Sambac, Coriander, Cardamom, Oakmoss: In this phase, the carnality of Jasmine Sambac acts as a bridge between the sweetness of the top and the severity of the base. The crucial choice was the early introduction of Oakmoss right in the heart: its earthy bitterness cuts through the candy apple like a scalpel, preventing the fragrance from flattening. Cardamom and Coriander add a cold, spicy vibration. It is the "cold" pulsing within the "heat," the unexpected twist that forces the wearer to stop and wonder what is truly happening on the skin.

3. The Magnetic Base: The Density of Memory

The secret of a 40% Extrait de Parfum is not just how long it lasts, but how it stays. For Just For One Day, we wanted a sillage like a long shadow at sunset: persistent, dark, and enveloping.

Amber and the Animalic Secret (Ambrette Seeds and Oud) Vanilla, Caramel, Amber, White Musk: while Caramel and Vanilla seal the gourmand pact, it is the Ambrette Seeds that make the difference. This plant-based musk, rare and precious, provides a "clean yet warm skin" note, almost animalic, that fuses the perfume with the epidermis. Amber and White Musk are not mere fixatives, but create a magnetic aura. It is the feeling of clothes that, at the end of the night, still smell of the party, the poured brandy, and the promise made that morning.

JUST FOR ONE DAY is our statement on the importance of the moment: a fragrance that does not scream to be heard, but creates a subtle addiction. It is the scent of happiness that needs no tomorrow, because it has managed to make today immortal through a backdrop of sugar, liquor, and earthy shadow.
