THE NOSE
Sofia Bardelli
Sofia loves to fly. And travel. In flight there is intuition, shifting currents, air pockets, and sudden accelerations. And she creates like this, as one flies. From above, everything recomposes itself, hidden symmetries emerge. In the journey, certainties are undone and the meaning of distances is rewritten. Deverting does not arise from what is before the eyes, but from what is intuited only by changing perspective. Flying, and tilting the head. Like this.
After graduating in Pharmacy from the University of Pavia, Sofia moved to Grasse, the world capital of perfume. After passing a global selection process, she was one of twelve candidates chosen to attend the prestigious Grasse Institute of Perfumery, sponsored by Givaudan. Her training in Grasse taught her to love and recognize the highest quality raw materials, which constantly inspire her creativity and define her olfactory signature.
For her creations, Sofia draws inspiration from her passion for the natural world and from fields as broad as botany, astronomy, and travel. Her bold and reactive approach is guided by research and the valorization of the most precious ingredients.
LE NEZ
Vincent Ricord
The perfumer, like the musician, orchestrates emotions. He works not only with raw materials, but also with silences, waits, and nuances. Each fragrance becomes a melody to be breathed in, an intimate concert that belongs to the wearer. And in perfume, as in music, what remains is the invisible emotion, suspended between silence and memory. Is this why Vincent is so talented?
Vincent comes from a family of perfumers in Grasse. This deep family tradition immersed him in the world of olfactory perfumery from an early age. His passion was ignited during an internship at just thirteen years old. With twenty years as a Senior Perfumer, he has worked for prestigious French perfume houses and dedicated part of his career to teaching, training the next generation of perfumers at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris.
Experience at international creative centers has taught him to combine the Grasse heritage with a modern approach. Vincent draws inspiration from the world of art and music, seeing composition as the art of creating the perfect "soundtrack" for an emotion. His approach is bold and refined, driven by the search for the perfect accord.
